Certification and Licensure

Licensure and certification outcomes vary by track within the MSEd in Educational Psychology. The Applied Behavior Analysis concentration is designed to prepare students for board certification and licensure in applied behavior analysis. The General Studies, Gifted & Talented, Special Education, and Twice-Exceptionalities tracks do not lead to licensure and are best suited for students who already hold licensure in these areas or looking to pursue advanced graduate study in these areas.

General Studies, Gifted & Talented, Special Education, or Twice-Exceptionalities Tracks

The MSEd in Educational Psychology general studies, gifted & talented, special education, and twice-exceptionalities tracks do not lead to any kind of state or professional licensure. These programs are ideal for those who are already licensed in the above areas and are seeking advanced study to deepen their expertise, expand career options, and position themselves for leadership, consulting, or advanced instructional roles.
